Wonderful Winter Walks
If you like walking then you probably walk all year whatever the weather. Living in the UK you have to just dress for all weathers and get on with doing what you love as the weather is unpredictable. The walking options in the Cotswolds are stunning and there are some to suit all ability levels. One of my personal favourites is from Stanton up over to Shenberrow and back to Stanton. Passing by stables and fields with horses or sheep grazing and looking across at the amazing views.
And along the way, expect the unexpected!
Guided Nordic Walking
If you have ever fancied trying Nordic Walking there is a brilliant offer for groups of 2 – 12 people to book a walk with a local instructor. I can highly recommend them as I have been enjoying regular walks with them myself this year.
Pubs with Roaring Fires
There are no end of beautiful pubs tucked away in little villages with roaring fires and warm welcomes to take your fancy.
The local museums are also great places to explore on wet days or when you’ve had enough of being outside. If you like cars then the Cotswold Motoring Museum is well worth a visit. https://cotswoldmotoringmuseum.co.uk
Or for all things Roman head off to the Corinium Museum at Cirencester.
For Gin enthusiasts, and who is not, then a trip to the Cotswold Distillery is a must. https://cotswolddistillery.com
We also have stately homes and National Trust properties a plenty so there is something for everyone and when you are done you can enjoy a fantastic choice of establishments for Sunday lunches or the quintessential afternoon tea!
